From textiles, floor coverings, furniture and accessories, to the latest ready-to-wear apparel fashions and accents, the Trendease Team was there! Trains, planes, and automobiles, with a lot of energy and excitement, brought us to the markets in Paris, Frankfurt, Hannover, Cologne, Milan, and Valencia. Review highlights from the shows here.

Paris — This month we bring you the trends presented at the major international trade exhibitions in January. You can see the direction each show took, where they were different, and where they crossed paths. Now we are working on compiling the information from them all, to bring you common strings that weave throughout. Trends at Heimtextil

Frankfurt — The Heimtextil theme for the 2005 / 2006 trend is Heimweh, the celebration of the good things in the past, providing inspiration to the future. Within the theme of Heimweh, there are four separate trends presented: My Lady, Aristocrat, Rebel and Smart Girl. See the fabrics and accessories along with the lifestyle settings of these 'individuals' here.

Frankfurt — Industry professionals “wait with bated breath” for wallpaper manufacturers to showcase their new product introductions at Heimtextil. Well, the cat has been let out of the bag, so to speak, and here in this gallery are some of the hot picks that were on display.

With time as a precious commodity, pampering oneself does not always come easily; however, by purchasing a towel a little larger in size, or with a bit more weight or fluffiness, the customer is indulging in subtle pleasures. 5 Style Buzzwords for Carpets

Hannover — This “floorforum” was the highlight of the DOMOTEX show in Hannover this January. The combination of the top thirty leading exhibitors of the fair with the “Champion of textile designers”, Ulf Moritz, brought together the five style categories seen here.
